Amidst the chaos, there is an unusual yet fascinating stillness to the city that typically teems with energy. In navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve found solace in the precious moments of connection as well as isolation. As we re-enter society, we must ask ourselves – do we honestly want to return to the state of the world that got us here in the first place?
Our preconceived notions of normalcy became disrupted as we were compelled to reconsider what “essential” and “priority” mean to us on both individual and collective scales. Actions today directly impact what we live through tomorrow as we are responsible for making the necessary sacrifices to be humanity’s backbone.
